Nibras — Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-06-09

Terms of Use

These are the terms for using Nibras, a reader of the Qur’an for Apple platforms built by KhassinX (KHASSINX LLC, a Florida limited liability company).

By installing or using Nibras, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app

Nibras presents the Qur’an: the Arabic text and a translation of its meaning, with an on-device, non-generative concordance that surfaces connections within the text. The translation is a translation of the meaning; it is never the Qur’an itself. Nibras does not interpret, paraphrase, or generate scripture. It is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store, where Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Pro bono, free, “as is”

Nibras is offered free of charge, pro bono, with no advertising and no subscription. An optional tip jar may be available for those who wish to support the work; it is never required.

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KHASSINX LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Reverence and use

Nibras is intended for reverent reading, study, and reflection. You agree not to use it for any unlawful purpose, and not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except where applicable law expressly permits.

Attribution and sources

Nibras presents scripture with transparent provenance:

Full attributions are shown in the app and on this site. A translation of the meaning is always labelled as such and is never presented as the Qur’an.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, where KHASSINX LLC is organized, without reference to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your residence give you different rights.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the new version replaces the old at this URL. The previous version remains accessible via this site’s commit history.
